Wednesday-Friday, August 1-3: Pier 17 Kicks Off Fall Season- Amy Schumer & Kings of Leon

Pier 17 kicks off it's first official season this week with Amy Schumer — the star of Trainwreck and Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer — bringing her friends for a night of laughs on Wednesday and the Grammy-Award winning quartet Kings of Leon rocking the roof off on Thursday and Friday. Thursday, August 2: When Harry Met Sally Showing at 28 Liberty Plaza

This week's movie (weather permitting) at 28 Liberty Plaza is the classic New York rom-com, When Harry Met Sally. Enjoy free popcorn and show up early for the first-come, first-serve comfy, cozy front-row beanbag chairs.

The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation is looking to finish it’s construction and open a new museum in 2019, devoted to all the history Lady Liberty holds (including her original torch), but this cannot be done without support and donations from her community.
